Take some pub sing-alongs, songs of Irish and Scottish history, a few sea shanties, American folk tunes, throw in some jigs and reels, mix with a little bit of Celtic rock and what do you have? The Dustmen! Jokingly taking their name from an Irish term for street sweepers, the Dustmen’s up tempo high energy version of traditional music has been described by the Buffalo News as "more fun than a barrel of Guinness!" The Dustmen are: Brian Quigley (guitar, mandolin, whistle), Harry McCulloch Linton (percussion, whistle, harmonica), and Russ Scinta (banjo, guitar). We are sometimes joined by Liz Scinta (fiddle, guitar, drums) when she is available. |
